BEAUVIS AEROPORT PARIS, FRANCE
Beauvis Aeroport (BVA) is called the Parisian gateway for many low budget airlines like Ryanair, Blue air, Wizzair, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Sterling and many others these days. The airport being outside Paris at Tille, i.e. outside the Beauvis town, which is in the Northwest of Paris at a distance of around 80 kilometers. As situated in Tille outside Beauvis, the airport is called as Beauvis Tille Airport in full name. This is a very old airport that was constructed in 1930s, but during the Second World War the mighty German army improved and maintained it. In French the Airport is called by the name Aeroport de Paris Beauvis Tille.
This small airport was a regional airport in Beauvis city. Being situated among the neighborhood of Tille, it’s an Oise Department commune that is 3.5 kms far from Beauvis in the northeast direction. Now beauvis airport is ranking as the third largest airport of Paris, since the low budget airlines Ryan air had made this as its Paris area terminal. In 2005 the permanent facilities of the airport were redeveloped, the airport that was housed inside a marquee tent and possessed three gates. Now the airport has got a very different new look with many shopping malls, restaurants and bars, and has four gates and has some permanent structure which is simple.
The airport facilitates the passengers with shuttle service to the city center and also a rail way station which runs eight times daily. Also it is a 75 minutes way to Paris if traveled in a private coach bus. This will be most convenient way of traveling to the passengers getting down in Beauvis airport after flying for reaching city as the buses keep running between the Porte Maillot in city Paris and the airport. Buses are so facilitated to leave 20 minutes after every flight arrives at the airport. And in return the buses leave from Paris before three hours of the scheduled flight departure to the airport, taking care that the passengers are in time for catching their respective flights. The fares of the buses being 13 euros for one-way travel and 26 euros for 2 ways.
If going to Paris, then the tickets should be bought outside the airport at Kiosk, only by cash and no any kind of cards will be accepted. The bus will take you to the north side of the hotel Concorde La Fayette’s coach parking at Porte Maillot. On turning right from the parking lot, you have to walk to the Paris Congress Center and you can find metro station and also the RER service station just across the street.
For saving time and go tension free there is a facility for buying tickets from home with the credit cards before leaving. Also there are number of other transport facilities from airport to reach the city center like the train service SNCF run by the French government that runs between the Gare du Nord in Paris and the Beauvis airport taking nearly one hour and 15 minutes of travel. Shuttle Vans run by the airport authority which has 7 passenger vans running between the Paris hotels and the Beauvis, also offering service to the Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Taxis are also available.
